Drop-In Pet Visits
A focused, reassuring check-in when you can't be there — right in your pet's own home.
Is this the right fit for your pet?
Drop-in visits work well for cats, small animals, and dogs who are comfortable with independence between visits — for a workday, a night out, or as part of a longer trip alongside other services. They're also a good option for pets who simply need a reliable midday check-in.
What this care involves
A standard drop-in visit (starting at $40) generally includes feeding, fresh water, potty care, a short walk or play period, litter or pet-area care, simple medication administration, and a photo update. A one-hour drop-in (starting at $50) allows more extensive exercise, enrichment, care tasks, or tidying.
Shaped around your pet
You can schedule one visit or several throughout the day, choose the standard or one-hour length, and add medication administration or light household tasks. Visits happen within a reasonable service window unless an exact time is arranged in writing.
How updates work
You'll receive a photo update after each completed visit through your agreed communication channel.
How to prepare
Leave clear, current feeding and medication instructions, enough supplies with a buffer, a tested backup entry method, and disclosure of any cameras, alarms, or expected visitors.
Cared for by trained, insured professionals
Every drop-in is performed by an insured, bonded, background-checked caregiver following the routine and instructions you provide — not a generic checklist.
Starting at $40 per visit (30 minutes); one-hour visits start at $50.
Every booking is customized — final pricing depends on your pet's needs, number of pets, schedule, location, and any add-ons. You'll receive a written estimate before service begins whenever reasonably possible.
Drop-In Pet Visits FAQs
Can I schedule more than one visit a day?
Yes. Many clients schedule multiple drop-in visits per day depending on their pet's needs — for example, a midday and an evening visit.
Do you administer medication during a drop-in?
Usually, yes, when you provide written instructions and clearly labeled medication. More complex medical needs are reviewed individually and may affect pricing or availability.
How exact is the visit time?
Visits are generally scheduled within a reasonable window rather than an exact minute. An exact time can be arranged in writing when your situation requires it.
