What this care involves
Walks are provided as part of a Drop-In Visit or One-Hour Drop-In, with the length and route matched to your dog's energy, comfort, and any leash-handling notes you provide. Every walk includes a check-in and a photo update.
Shaped around your pet
Pace, route, and walk length are adapted to your dog. If you have a leash-reactive or lower-energy dog, let us know — routines are built around what actually works for your dog, not a fixed formula. Bring your own leash, harness, and collar for the best fit.

You'll receive a photo update after each walk through your agreed communication channel.
How to prepare
Provide a secure, well-fitted leash, harness or collar, and waste bags. Let us know about gate or fence quirks, other pets or people your dog reacts to, and any weather-related limits.
Cared for by trained, insured professionals
During extreme Austin heat, walks may be shortened, moved to cooler hours, or replaced with indoor enrichment. Your dog's safety takes priority over the planned route or duration.
Walking is included within Drop-In Visits, starting at $40 (30 minutes) or $50 (one hour). There is currently no separate walk-only rate — ask us about the right option for your dog's schedule.
Every booking is customized — final pricing depends on your pet's needs, number of pets, schedule, location, and any add-ons. You'll receive a written estimate before service begins whenever reasonably possible.

Is dog walking a separate, stand-alone service?
Walking is delivered as part of a Drop-In Visit or a fuller care plan rather than as its own separate booking today. Tell us your dog's needs and we'll recommend the right visit length.
What happens on very hot days?
Walks may be shortened, timed for cooler parts of the day, or replaced with indoor enrichment when heat or pavement conditions create an unreasonable risk.
Can I request the same caregiver for every walk?
We make every reasonable effort to keep your dog with a familiar caregiver so walks stay comfortable and consistent.
